SUES held 2024 National English Competition for College Students（Preliminary）

On the morning of April 21st, 2024 NECCS（Preliminary）wassuccessfully held. More than 1,800 undergraduate and postgraduate studentsparticipated in the competition, and a total of 51 examination classrooms wereset up. Under the careful arrangements of the Academic Affairs Office and theSchool of Foreign Languages, the competition proceeded in an orderly manner andwas completed smoothly. Rao Pinahua, Director of the Academic Affairs Office,Wan Jun, Deputy Dean of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, HeYuelei, Deputy Director of the Graduate School, Qian Huimin, Party Secretary ofthe Joint School of Mathematics, Physics and Foreign Languages, and Du Lijuan,Deputy Dean of the School of Foreign Languages, inspected the examination classroomsof the competition.

The School of Foreign Languages attaches greatimportance to this national-level competition . It has set up a committee forthe competition and has done detailed and careful work in the competition. Thiscompetition has promoted the teaching reform of college English, improvedcollege students' English proficiency, and stimulated the enthusiasm ofstudents in learning English.
