SFL Successfully Holds Academic Lecture on "Exploring the Development of Translation Studies in the Age of AI"

On the afternoon of March 31, 2025, the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) invited Professor Zhao Gang, Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at East China Normal University and doctoral supervisor, to deliver an academic lecture titled "Exploring the Development of Translation Studies in the Age of AI."

Drawing on his profound academic expertise and extensive practical experience, Professor Zhao Gang delivered an engaging presentation centered on the theme of exploring the development of translation studies in the context of artificial intelligence. He provided a thorough and comprehensive analysis of the profound transformations that AI technology is bringing to the field of translation. Citing a wide range of vivid and detailed cases, he delved deeply into the developmental pathways and future directions for translation studies in the new era.
